New Video Game Releases of the Week Spotlights (March 7-12) - Predictions

Okay, I know what you are thinking, that's not a full week. Well, I goofed and was doing 8 days in the last few entries so, now the schedule is out of wack. Just to catch it up, I will dial it down to 6 for this entry. I would cut this time frame in half and catch it all up at once, but then we wouldn't have any titles. Regardless, on with the list.

Basic Rules

  • No ports of already released games or DLC. New titles or updates/remakes only
  • Games are Ordered strictly based on release dates
  • 2-5 titles minimum/limit.
    • This is not sponsored advertisement. Non-bias views

Ori and the Will of the Wisps - March 11

PC, Xbox One

Look, an exclusive from Microsoft. We've got a 2D plaformer here that appears to be constant action and danger. Visually, this game looks amazing. It is very colorful and detailed. Also, the game page promises "deeply emotional storytelling".Honestly, this game looks like it is very well made and will get positive reviews. Fans of 2D platformers should definitely check it out.

Hidden Through Time - March 12

PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4

This game looks to be a find the hidden object type of game with the ability to draw your own maps with a selection of less then interesting looking sprites. Got to say, this one does not look interesting. Ever have one of those "find it" books as a kid and want to make your own in a video game? Then this is for you. Everyone else, probably a pass.

Those two are the only options this week. One game looks great, the other looks meh. But, next week could be better. So, until then, this is Red Diamond, signing off.
