Minecraft(bedrock:ps4) Review

Amazon.com: Minecraft (PS4): Video Games

Ah Minecraft, the game of games. This nostalgic open world survival game from 2008 has stuck around through thick and thin, even being popular to this day.  Minecraft is more popular than Jesus Christ himself. If you haven't heard of this game you must live under a rock... NO! You must live under a mountain if you don't know what Minecraft is.

Umihara Kawase Bazooka! (Playstation 4) Review.

Prepare your rods, master your bait, and get ready to have a reel good time.  This is Umihara Bazooka, the arcade-ish spin-off to the Umihara Kawase series.  Not gonna lie, the title lures me into this game and what mysteries it beholds.  So let's dive in and fish for answers.  (Click on "Read More" to read the full review.)

Yakuza Kiwami [ps4] reveiw

Yakuza Kiwami is a remake of the PlayStation 2 classic Yakuza, in which you play as Kazama Kiryu as he fights with many enemies ranging from Yakuza to the Japanese police force. This game is held together by a gripping story, and a beautiful combat system. (note: I haven't played the first yakuza game, so this review isn't a comparison]

Whiteboyz Wit Attitude: The Pursuit of Money (PS4) Review

It's 2007, Soulja Boy is blaring on the radio, so you grab your best mate and form a band.  That's how Whiteboyz Wit Attitude came to form.  (An obvious parody on the band name, NWA.)  Now it's 2020 where WWA have re-united to create an all-new album.  So, how do you promote a cheesy underground hip-hop album, made by two blokes who like cheesy hip-hop music themselves?  Why, they make a game based on it.  This is Whiteboyz Wit Attitude: The Pursuit of Money for the PS4.  (Click on "Read More" to read the full review.)

Star Wars Battlefront 2 (ps4) Review

Star Wars Battlefront 2 is a squeal to the EA reboot of the Star Wars video game franchise. While the game had a single player mode, the game was focused on a terrible multiplayer mode. The multiplayer mode had great game play and fast load times, but the amount of in game purchase that had to be made to play the game as advertised was ridiculous. Here in recent times though, they have updated the game to where you can play the game as advertised

Krinkle Krusher (PS4) Review.

Time for a review of a game that's about blowing cute things up to seventh heaven.  This is Krinkle Krusher, a game where you play as a wizard and a glove, blowing cute baddies up.  It sounds like a promising title.  (Click on "Read More" to read the full review.)

HoPiKo (PS4) Review.

Super Meat Boy, Super Mario Brothers: The Lost Levels, I Wanna Be the Guy, Bubsy 3D.  What do all of these games have in common?  Well, other than being platformers, these games are super hard to beat.  Today's game is in the same league as those titles, but this time it isn't a platformer.  This is HoPiKo, the ultra hard puzzle jumper game for the PS4. (it also came out on other systems.)  How is it?  Find out in my review.  (Click on "Read More" to read the full article.)

Metagal (PS4, Vita) Review.

Yup, it's my third gaming review in a row about a game published by Ratalaika Games.  One of their games was okay and the other is a hidden gem.  (Don't sue me, Metal Jesus Rocks.)  Either way, this company is keeping the Vita alive.  While I thank them for that, they aren't free from having their releases criticized…  I mean, honestly reviewed.  (Criticized sounds like I'm about to unfairly bash the games head in.)  Today's game sounds like a really good one.  This is Metagal for the PS4 and Vita.  Yes, I can already spoil that this game has two easy to get platinum trophies.  (Click on "Read More" to read the full review.)

Super Weekend Mode (PS4, Vita) Review.

Super Weekend Mode.  That's the name of the game in this review.  The name doesn't give off any clue as to what this game could be.  Thank goodness that I am here with a full on review of the game.  Enjoy! (Click on "Read More" to read the full review of the game.)

Peasant Knight (PS4, Vita) Review.

It's knight time and I'm not just using that for a cheeky pun, it really is knight time.  For you see, today's game is about a heroic knight out to save the land.  This is Peasant Knight for the Sony PlayStation 4 and Vita.  This game did come out on other systems too, but I covered the Sony release which probably isn't all that much different from the other ports.  (Click on "Read More" to read the full review.)

North (PS4) Review

Time to pack up your backpacks because we are heading north.  Okay, that was a lame, so let's try that again.  Time to.. Nope, still got nothing.  F**k it! I'll just go straight with this intro... STRAIGHT NORTH! Yup, today I'll be taking a look at yet another game by Sometimes You.  The same company that published Blood Waves, Drowing, Planet RIX-13, and the terrabad Cyber City 2157.  This time I take a look at North for the PS4.  Will North be good or bad? Who cares! It's a Sometimes You game! It's going to be a game with something interesting to be said regardless.  (Excluding Blood Waves.) (Click on "Read More" to read the full article.)

Blood Waves (PS4) Review.

When I first saw the name Blood Waves, I thought that this was going to be a surfing game where you have to avoid sharks.  Instead we get another bloody zombie shooter.  Will it be good?  Find out in this review.  (Click on "Read More" to read the full article.)

Horizon Chase Turbo (Playstation 4) Review.

I love racing games but I do wish that we got more stuff like the arcade games I grew up with.  You know, Daytona USA, Sega Rally, Outrun.  Yeah, I really crave something that's like a Sega arcade racer but with an original twist.  This game looks like that it ticks those boxes and I sure hope that it's a good game to boot.  This is Horizon Chase Turbo.  (Click on "Read More" to read the full article).
