I pretty much agree with everything you said about Superman. I thought David Corenswet did a great job. Overall I enjoyed the casting of everyone for the most part, the story, the tone, and the pacing. I was impressed.

I wasn’t even bothered by Nathan Fillion in the movie, and I have a massive Nathan Fillion Fatigue these days. Side note, since Fillion is in Buffy, and I did finally finish the entire Buffy series, it took a lot out of me. Seasons 1-3 were fucking gold though. I will probably rewatch Seasons 1-3 again some day, the rest of the series is pretty draining though.

[Superman cont.] Drunk Supergirl showing up at the very end was a sour note to end on, I’m not sure what they were thinking with that one. Here’s your new Supergirl “some drunk asshole”. At least she doesn’t have a brontosaurus neck like Melissa Benoist.

The only thing you didn’t mention, that got on my nerves with the movie, was the screen time of Krypto. The dog felt a bit overused, but it’s a minor complaint.

Lex’s universe with his caged up ex’s and the monkeys on Twitter was hilarious.

Will I be getting Oblivion Remastered? Nah. I might play the original version again in 20 more years for nostalgia though. I need the cheesy XBOX 360 graphics for comfy maxxin!

Thunderbolts* was the movie I was forced to see. It was okay. Black Widow’s sister looks so much like Janeane Garofalo, it’s all I could focus on.

I also remember watching movies with broads in high school. I wish I could go back to watching early 2000’s chick flicks instead of current movies. That is the timeline we are living in sadly.

To get the old Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection working, I used this guide. I remember it being a pretty quick fix.

There is also a new Mortal Kombat Legacy Kollection coming out in late September. I plan on getting it on Steam digitally in September, and the physical edition for my XBOX in December, because I am a consoooomer, and Ed Boon needs my monies.
