Pirate Party The Band Return With New Album "Setting Fail Again"

It's certainly been a while since we last heard from the Australian Comedy Pirate Metal duo, Pirate Party The Band. 11 months, in fact - with their last album "Pirate Pandemonium" which was released back in September 2024. Afterwards, things went dormant. But that didn't mean Pirate Party The Band ended. Oh certainly no."We were sitting around doing nothing for a while and I really wanted to revive Pirate Party The Band. I started getting a lot of brand new song ideas. When we sat down again and started coming up with track ideas, the fun all just came back. At least something was happening."

Recording began back in June. It wasn't until a few weeks ago, Cameron had just recorded the instrumentals for "Attack Of The 50ft Fucktopus" (a new song on the album), sent it to Kaiser, then - the  very next day, Cameron's computer died out of nowhere. Thankfully, he sent all the currently finished  instrumentals to Kaiser already, and took the Hard Drive out of his Desktop to ensure no files were damaged. Thankfully, the files are still usable, and the Pirate Party The Band songs were saved. But the problem, Cameron was without a computer for a while! It ended up being a few weeks before he decided to bite the bullet and get a new one. Thanks to Discord and separated Hard Drives, work resumed straight after things were (Hopefully) fixed up. So for Pirate Party The Band, it's been a long time coming.

Formed in early 2019, Pirate Party The Band features the comedic pirate themed stylings of acclaimed independent Australian comedy rock musician Cameron Hons (famous for his solo work), and gaming guru James T Kaiser, they decided to start streaming on the hit Rare video game Sea of Thieves. The band idea came after Cameron's other band, The Midnight Helicopters, recorded a song called "Pirate Party". from the New Wave album. It promoted the duo's adventures in the game, and that's where the band name would eventually appear from. Their debut album, "Sinking To New Lows" eventually was released in July 2019.

Both Cameron and James T Kaiser had a load of fun with the making of this album, and look forward to you hearing it. You can check it out on their BandCamp page, and be sure to follow them on it if you enjoy their music.

Pirate Party The Band's return may be long awaited but that wait is certainly worth it!
Pirate Party The Band feature James T Kaiser on Vocals and Cameron Hons on Vocals and all instruments.
