Dragon Age Origins (Vanilla) - Ranking Every Classes Specializations from Best to Worst

Lately I've been on a bit of a Dragon age kick and have played through the first game several times and have experimented with every type of specialization. Now, just for fun, I am going to give my opinion on which specialization, of each class, is the most useful to the least. Let me just say, there are no wrong classes or specializations to pick from, it's all about how you want to play or roleplay. I am basing these pick off how useful each one is in terms of making the game easier or harder. Click "read more".

Tails Tube (Official Sonic Web-series) - A must see for Sonic Fans

It seems redundant to shout-out something far more popular than yourself, but recognition is never a bad thing. On the Official Sonic The Hedgehog YouTube Channel there is a mini series staring Tails that answers fan questions with help from rotating guest appearances from other Sonic characters. Tails Tube!

I have always loved Q&A segments due to my fascination of behind the scenes trivia and official canon explanations, and this is great for both. Sonic and his friends are some of those characters I love to hear talk in-between adventures and Tails fits the role of Vlogger perfectly. They even talk about Sonic Characters who have not been used in decades like Mighty and Fang. Seriously, to anyone who loves the Sonic world like we do and have somehow not heard of this series, please watch it, you will thank me later.

Sonic Jam (Sega Saturn) - Is More Than You Think!

One of the infamously known facts about the Sega Saturn is that it lacked a proper Sonic game after Sonic X-Treme was canceled. It had an enhanced port of the Genesis' Sonic 3D Blast, an on foot racing game that was unpopular, and Sonic was playable in Christmas Knights into Dreams. Then, there was Sonic Jam which many people brush off as a simple collection game with a 3D hub world. That is partially true, but there is more to this title than a lot of people know. 5 Unappreciated Video Games That need a Sequel But May Never Get One

Anyone who has been gaming for awhile has more than likely experienced this. A gam or series that it feels like you are the only one that still cares about and want to see return. However, it is especially upsetting when those games have an unfinished story or unrealized potential. Here are 5 games that fit that description for me. Click "read more".

Ghost Ranger - 5 Games I wish I liked

I already talked about unpopular opinions, but this one is a bit different. There have been times when I come across a video game that seems really good but I just cannot get into. But, it is different than simply being a game that does not appeal to me, they are games that seem like they should appeal to me and I get impressed with, but for whatever reason I just never feel like playing even though they sound great.  Following up my confession to liking 5 games that are considered "bad", I will now do the opposite. Here are 5 video games/series that a lot of people love and I do not like.

Power Rangers Fan Theory - The SPD A Squad Ranger Suits and Sky's Dad's Red Ranger Suit Explained

Easily one of the most infamous moments in Power Rangers history took place during the Disney era season Power Rangers SPD. The blue ranger Sky was the son of the "best of the best" Red Rangers who died in action when he was a kid and his suit looks exactly like the Time Force Red Ranger with an SPD badge. Also, the main cast was the B-Squad, second team, while the A-Squad was MIA and their suits re-used the In Space helmets. This was al due to the strict budget that Disney put on the producer in a position where he was not permitted to create new outfits and had to make due with old props. But, while the show never acknowledged the similarities, what if there was an in-universe reason for their designs? Click "read more" for my theory.

Ranking all Persona 4 Golden Party Members from Worst to Best

One of my all time favorite video game series is the Persona franchise. Persona 4 is one I logged many hours into, especially on the Vita with Golden. While I'll admit 5 is better, lately I've been remembering this title and felt like doing a countdown on it for fun. So, click "read more" and let the fun begin. Minor spoilers ahead.

A Noir Review of the Astrohaus Freewrite

I arrived home after a long day's work. It was an unseasonably cold day for what was supposed to be the beginning of spring. When I stepped through the door, I was greeted by my prize--a large box from a shipment I had from UPS.

Mark Dalton: Trucker/Detective (Graphic Audio) - Audio Drama Mini Review

This is a story about a private investigator who turns into an owner/operator trucker who lives out of his truck and has a habit of attracting trouble. To clarify, this story is based on a book series, but this review is for the 2 audio drama adaptations made by Graphic Audio and is not a sponsored review. Now, I never read or even heard of the book series before finding this audio play, but I have always had high respect for the trucking profession and it ending up being a very nice whim purchase. Pixar: Lava - Quick Thoughts

Pixar often shows a short film before their feature length, but this one always stood out in my memory. It is a 6 minute music video that tells a simple love story about a volcano. Interesting to me is that fact that this short film has just as much story as a full length film. Click "read more" for my full thoughts.

Drew Carey's Green Screen Show - A look back at a failed show

Here is a short lived Improv Comedy show I have found memories of, only lasting 12 episodes + the pilot. Airing from fall 2004-2005 on WB and Comedy Central, this show was created by Drew Carey after Whose Line is it Anyway had finished its run and the show easily felt like a continuation as it featured several of the same games and cast. So, click "read more" and let us take a look back at this failed experiment.

Sonic Movie Sequel Ideas - Red Shard Prime

So I posted my review on the Sonic movie and went into great detail about what I thought of the film.  However, as the ending set up the way for a sequel and the movie is doing well enough, I want to express my thoughts on what I feel would be good for a sequel and what I feel should be some ideas to go through with and ones to not go through with, at least not for the second film.

Also, MASSIVE SPOILERS, so heads up!

Pokemon TCG - Unified Minds. OWC: The Lost Episode.

Unified Minds has been out for a little while now.  So, this post is late to the party.  There's a very good reason behind that.  What is that reason? Most importantly is what juicy pulls did I get from this set?  Find out in this special lost episode of Obsessions With Cardboard.  (Click on "Read More" to read the full article.)

Red Prime Shard: Surge Soda pop (Amazon) - Review

Anyone remember when the Coca-Cola drink: Surge was available in the 90s and for a while in the early 2000s?  It had a very 90s logo that came off as graffiti and hand painted, and it was delicious.  It was one of my favorite drinks in the 90s.  The commercials were weird with single can or bottle of Surge being set up as a prize, someone yells “SURGE” and then we see people race and compete for the drink, and it was advertised as a fully loaded citrus soda with carbos with the tagline being “Feed The Rush” and using signs of extreme sports to really make it an EXTREME drink for a 90s audience.  Honestly, I think a whole fridge or cooler of Surge would make more sense for these if we were to “Feed The Rush.”  About a year later, the logo changed to a more digital one that would clearly be made in a computer and for the most part, I think that one would work for a more mainstream audience, but there was a special charm about the original, and it seems Coca-Cola thought so as well since they used the old logo for the revival.  The drink was made as a competitor to Pepsi’s Mountain Dew and originally created with the codename MDK (Mountain Dew Killer), and for a while, it had a following, but then was eventually discontinued in 2003.  So with the revival version released, I wanted to try it again, but didn’t get the chance until recently.

Revenge of the Unbroken Bonds! - OWC #3

On the first edition of Obsessions With Cardboard, I opened up some Unbroken Bonds Pokémon cards (among other stuff).  It's a very good set but sadly I didn't really get any of the super hard to get stuff.  Maybe this will change in this edition of OWC because I have more Unbroken Bonds to open.  This is also an opening that's a bit more special than opening a standard pack.  What I've got to show today is the Unbroken Bonds Build and Battle deck.  What's inside? Pokemon Sky Legends Booster Box Opening (Japanese Set) OWC #2

Time for another article about Pokémon cards.  This is Obsessions With Cardboard issue #2.  You know when you are deep into the game, when you buy yourself a Japanese booster box just for certain cards that would've cost more than buying the booster box itself.  Thankfully, I'm not that deep into the game. No! I bought this booster because the series itself looked very nice and couldn't wait for the English edition to come out.  That's not to say that this whole set will be released in English.  Some of the cards are very "interesting" to say the least, to the point where I doubt that they'll get released outside of Japan.  I purchased this set from an independent Australian card shop called Collectable Madness.  (Check them out.)  Anyway, enough time wasting, let's see what I got in this Sky Legends booster box. (Click on "Read More" to read the full article.)

OWC #1 $200 Pokemon Card Mystery Box Unboxing.

Hello, ladies, gentlemen, and un-binary.  Welcome to the first edition of OWC with your pal, I, Kaiser Sensei.  What is OWC? It's not a backyard wrestling federation or the band that peformed How Bizarre.  (That was OMC.)  OWC stands for Obsessions With Cardboard.  This is the place where I talk about card games.  In this edition, I'll be typing about something that I had recently bought.  Yup, I've done the crazy and spent $200 on a mystery box full of Pokémon TCG products.  What's inside?  Click on "Read More" to read the full article and find out.
