Aussie Music Festival "Pandemonium Rocks" Sydney To Relocate After ANZAC Day Clashes (UPDATE)

UPDATE 2: Cathy Freeman Park in Olympic Park is the new venue for the relocated "Pandemonium Rocks Sydney" that still plans to be held on April 25, according to 9news this morning.

A new Australian rock festival boasting the lineups of rock artists such as Placebo, Blondie, Dead Kennedys, Wolfmother, Cosmic Psychos, Alice Cooper & Deep Purple has sparked backlash between Diggers & veterans who take part in Anzac Day. According to Channel 9 news, NSW Premier Chris Minns has just pulled the plug on what was going to be an electrifying new festival to be performed at the Domain, not too far away from where the city's Anzac Day marches were planned to go ahead. According to reports, the NSW Government is working with Andrew McManus and Apex One World Entertainment to look for another suitable venue on the day, or to have it moved a day or two before hand. Hopefully this can happen instead of flat out cancelling the festival. Other days in the country don't seem as affected from Melbourne, Gold Coast and Bribie Island.

No news or announcements as of yet has been shared by the event organizers of any venue or day changes, but i'll certainly update the article if I hear anything..

The festival has a couple of days in between shows, so hopefully rescheduling Sydney's performance can be of ease. The Domain is actually a pretty awkward venue, I hope they can change it to the Accor Stadium or something.

UPDATE - Pandemonium Rocks organizers have officially responded to the venue's postponment saying they will cooperate with NSW Government and planning minister Paul Scully to locate an alternate Sydney venue, with a new announcement expected soon. It's unknown if the day will change, but I will keep you guys posted about what happens.
