New Game Releases of the Week Spotlights (Feb. 20-27) - Predictions

Continuing on with another week. As always, 2-5 titles coming out within the time-frame in NA, no ports or DLC, only new titles or remakes/updates and they will be listed based on release date. Click "read more" to see if I can suggest any new games in the next week.

Ciel Fledge: A Daughter Raising Simulator - February 21

Switch, PC

Simulators seem to be the craze now, we have a "Daughter Raising Simulator". Gameplay appears to have a lot of menus with cute, but simple, animation. Visuals look colorful and charming. Setting is interesting though, it seems all of humanity lives in sky cities called "Arks" out of fear of a giant monster on Earth. Also, the girl you raise is adopted so, no baby phase. Based on the trailer, this Earth in danger story seems to be just the background world setting and not the focus of the game. It is interesting to see a cute & colorful game take place right above a world that is almost Attack on Titans just for what appears to be for fun. I'm gonna recommend this title only for the funny stories you can tell from playing it.

Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection - February 25

PS4, Xbox One, Switch, PC

These Mega Man collections have been quite the hit so naturally the spin-off series are also getting collections. This little bundle includes the 4 Mega Man Zero games from the Game Boy Advance, and 2 Mega Man ZX games from the Nintendo DS. Zero's two handheld series now all together on the home consoles/PC. No doubt, this will make YouTube reviewers happy. Honestly, I don't need any predictions for this one, if you were a fan of the Zero games, or curious about them, then this collection is for you. Luckily, I think we are mostly past the days of bad emulation.

That's all this week sadly. Most of the other titles were just Switch ports of games already out and a couple others with un-confirmed release dates. But, that's okay. Simple news is a simple read and I hope one of these two titles will strike a cord. Till next week, peace out.
