It's back!  The first new episode in a really long time.  Live from some made up... I mean live from a real convention.  It's the Retrokaiser live panel from TNR Talks '21.  In this episode I discuss games, suicide, and more pop-culture stuff.  Out in both audio and video forms.  Hell yeah!

Kamen Rider Black. (Nintendo Famicom Disk System) Review.

"I love being alive." These are lyrics from the theme song for the classic Japanese TV series, Kamen Rider Black.  Yes! A Kamen Rider Black game! With all the crazy stuff that went down in the show, it sure needed a video game.  Sadly, be careful what you wish for.  Not all that glitters is gold and this game is one of those cases.  They need to change one of the lyrics of the show to, "I don't like being alive!" it's that bad. Why is it bad? Read my review to find out.  (Click on "Read More" to read the full review.)

The Masked Rider: Kamen Rider ZO. (Sega CD) Review.

In a time before Masked Rider aired on American TV back in 1995, there was another attempt of exposing Kamen Rider to an American audience.  In the previous year of 1994, America got an unexpected release for the Sega Mega CD.  (Yeah, I know it was just called the Sega CD in the US.  I'm Australian.  Get over it, mates.)  Kamen Rider ZO the game hit US shores under the name, The Masked Rider: Kamen Rider ZO.  A silly name for sure.  It translates to The Masked Rider: Masked Rider ZO.  But that's enough of the Wikipedia history lesson.  Let's see if this sucka is any good or not.  (Click on "Read More" to read the full review.)

Mario Game & Watch Review. A Must Have Throwback or Just Another Novelty?

Going to do something different with today's review.  Normally I like to stick to the stiff, basic formula of breaking down a game (if you can call it that) by categories such as sound, graphics, gameplay, etc, etc, etc.  Those are gone for this article.  My experience is going to be presented as one solid piece.  Some may like it, some will pick on me for it (mainly my fellow co-workers), but stiff.  This is my experiences with the Mario Game & Watch.  Will it be a must have throwback?  Or will it be just another novelty for you to throw back into your closet.  (Click on "Read More" to read the full review.)

Umihara Kawase Bazooka! (Playstation 4) Review.

Prepare your rods, master your bait, and get ready to have a reel good time.  This is Umihara Bazooka, the arcade-ish spin-off to the Umihara Kawase series.  Not gonna lie, the title lures me into this game and what mysteries it beholds.  So let's dive in and fish for answers.  (Click on "Read More" to read the full review.)

Kamen Rider (Super Nintendo/Super Famicom) Review.

You know how some gamers swear that a game is good because they spent a ton of money on it?  (*Cough* The people that bought the Double Dragon 4 Collector's Edition *Cough*)  Well, today's game is a very expensive one to find and it's a tokusatsu game.  So, going by that logic that means that this game should be a twenty out of ten game that only the game collecting gods should experience.  This is Kamen Rider for the Super Famicom and I have huge doubts that this game will be worth spending a king's ransom on.  Let's see shall we?  (Click on "Read More" to read the full review.)

Pepper's Puzzles (Steam) Review.

There's a lot of puzzle games out there on Steam.  A lot of them are crappy, a lot of them are pornographic, and a lot of them are both.  There are quite a few good ones on there too, but sifting though the crap to get to one can be a difficult task.  However, Pepper's Puzzles could be one of those diamonds in the rough.  Then again, that bar is set so low on Steam, even roadkill can jump over it.  (Click on "Read More" to read the full review.)

Kamen Rider SD: Shutsugeki!! Rider Machine! (Super Famicom) Review.

When it comes to getting Kamen Rider game released in English back in the day, we got the short end of the stick.  Out of the many Kamen Rider games released in Japan, we only saw so few.  We got a pretty decent arcade game (which you can read my review of that right here) and a very lousy Sega Mega CD game.  Oddly enough, the Sega Mega CD game got rated T in America.  Sure, most of the Kamen Rider games are lousy and I've reviewed a few of those stinkers here.  Some of them are surprisingly decent and should've been released outside of Japan.  This is one of those Kamen Rider games.  This is your captain speaking!  Today's gaming cruise ship voyage takes us to Kamen Rider SD: Shutugeki!! Rider Machine! A game released for the Nintendo Super Famicom.  (Click on "Read More" to read the full review.)

MOP: Operation Cleanup (Playstation 4) Review.

You'd be amazed at how many deep cut PS4 games are so widely overlooked.  (They wouldn't be called deep cuts if they weren't overlooked.)  There's more than you'd think and I am reviewing another one of those games today.  This is MOP: Operation Cleanup for the PS4.  (Click on "Read More" to read the full review.)

Miko Mole (Playstation 4) Review.

When you think about games that were released for the Playstation 4, you're normally thinking of stuff with incredibly good graphics.  However there'll be a game that comes out every now and then that'll leave you thinking, "How the hell did this get released on this console?".  Miko Mole is one of those games.  Looks can be deceiving and maybe this game will end up being a diamond in the rough... Maybe.  (Click on "Read More" to read the full review.)

Ultraman Club - Tatakae! Ultraman Kyoudai!! (Arcade) Review.

It's about bloody time that we've covered something Ultraman related on this site.  Nope, it's not an episode from one of the television series.  (That job is reserved for UltraSam AKA Candy Cane Diamond.)  Instead I dive back into the amazing world of Tokusatsu arcade games.  This is Ultraman Club - Tatakae! Ultraman Kyoudai!!  It sounds exciting.  (Click on "Read More" to read the full review.)

Masked Riders Club Battle Race (Arcade). Review.

It's time for another Kamen Rider video game review.  All of the previous installments of my Kamen Rider game reviews were for Playstation One games.  This time however, I get to dive into the ultra hyper crazy exciting world of arcade games that never got a home port.  This is Masked Riders Club Battle Race.  Yes, this is one of the rare times where I get to used the Masked Rider name instead of Kamen Rider.  (Click on "Read More" to read the full review.)

Under Party (Steam) Review.

Today, I'm reviewing something a little different, something a little unique, something that's plenty violent, gruesome, and disturbing.  This is something that I wouldn't typically cover for this website, but I just found this game so fascinating that it'd be wrong not to cover it.  This is Under Party for the PC/Steam.  Make sure to read the warning found below before jumping into this review.  (Click on "Read More" to read the full review.)

Warning: Under Party is a pretty gruesome game, with violent imagery and situations that might make you feel a little uncomfortable.  Granted, it's nothing more violent than an R18+ horror movie, but still.  You have been warned! So, don't complain!

Whiteboyz Wit Attitude: The Pursuit of Money (PS4) Review

It's 2007, Soulja Boy is blaring on the radio, so you grab your best mate and form a band.  That's how Whiteboyz Wit Attitude came to form.  (An obvious parody on the band name, NWA.)  Now it's 2020 where WWA have re-united to create an all-new album.  So, how do you promote a cheesy underground hip-hop album, made by two blokes who like cheesy hip-hop music themselves?  Why, they make a game based on it.  This is Whiteboyz Wit Attitude: The Pursuit of Money for the PS4.  (Click on "Read More" to read the full review.)

Kamen Rider Agito (Playstation 1) Review

It has been awhile, but it is time for another dive into the realm of Kamen Rider video games.  So far we have had to cover nothing but cheap cash-ins here at the Emerald Rangers Ranch.  Will Kamen Rider Agito (AKA Masked Rider Agito) be the Kamen Rider game that will rise up and be a good game?  I severely doubt it, but we shall see in another exciting Kamen Rider video game review.  (Click on "Read More" to read the full review.)

Super Blue Fighter (Steam) Review.

When I heard that Super Blue Fighter existed, I thought that was a game based on the wrestler, The Blue Meanie.  Turns out that was not the case.  Nope.  Instead we have a neo-retro game that's trying to emulate the classic arcade games of the 1980's.  There's nothing wrong with that whatsoever, but how does it do at trying to be a game from that era?  Find out in my review of Super Blue Fighter for Steam.  (Click on "Read More" to read the full review.)

Epanalepsis (Steam) Review.

The indie gaming scene is full of experimental gems.  There's a lot of interesting and great ideas that have a lot of effort put into them.  But for every Octodad and Hollow Knight, you get gunk such as That Bastard Is Trying To Steal Our Gold, and today's game, Epanalepsis.  (Try saying that name three times real fast.)  Why is this game such a disappointing mess of an indie title?  Click on "Read More" and find out why.

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie (Super Nintendo) Review.

We're finally here! The fourth (and final) part of this month long journey covering the video game adaptations of the Power Rangers Movie games.  If you haven't read those previous reviews yet, you must do so right now.  I command you to!  They are pretty great!
Now that you're done reading them (or giving me a free view because you pity me), we are at the most crazy, insane, and bat-sh*t game out of the bunch.  This is the Super Nintendo version and oh, boy.  (Click on "Read More" to read the full review.)

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie (Sega Mega Drive/Genesis) Review.

One really long week ago (a week that has lasted a month and a half) I took a look at the second of the hand-held releases of the Power Rangers Movie game.  That's all in the past now because the future is fucking here.  We're in the 16-bit century now; full of mode seven, blast processing, parallax scrolling and other awesome features that use silly words.  Kicking it off the rim first (bruh) is the Sega Genesis release.  Will it top its Game Gear brother?  1. Who cares.  2.  Let's find out shall we.  (Click on "Read More" to read the full review.)

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie (Nintendo Game Boy) Review.

Last week I reviewed the Game Gear version of this game.  Now I go from a handheld device full of color to a handheld device that's not.  Oh yeah, baby! It's week two of the Power Ranger Movie game series.  I'm reviewing the Game Boy port.  Sweet! (Click on "Read More" to read the full review.)
